The lyrics of the song ‘Minerva’ was inspired by the owl of the Roman goddess Minerva. Unlike birds soaring high in daylight, the owl of Minerva can only take flight with the falling of dusk when the shades of night are gathering. In order to fly free, it has to create the eternal night for itself. Night, however, can only remain a permanent state for the owl if it closes its eyes and immerses itself in the illusory world between being awake and dreaming. Looking inwards in self-introspection, it seeks its own way, blindfolded. My song ‘Minerva’ is the acceptance of being blindfolded and the realization that we can actually see more if we are blindfolded. - Villő
