Hungarian female trap duo triola gang’s first single Kislány (“Little Girl”) is about the raw realities of womanhood that we rarely hear about in songs, especially in trap music. Like how girls are blamed for being groped or for their drinks being spiked, for getting pregnant or for being abused, not to mention the impossible standards they have to live up to and the pressure to stay quiet and please men in general. Kislány’s music video features a sign language interpreter directly signing the lyrics into the camera, which makes the meaning of the words even more powerful. Triola gang’s upcoming songs will cover a range of topics from partying over thirty to road rage and flexing.
